CEC is thrilled to share that Mr. Korell Velez has been named the new Head Coach for the Girls Basketball program.

Velez, a Levittown-native, joins the program as an accomplished travel basketball/AAU coach with more than 10 years of experience helping student-athletes promote their academic and athletic ambitions. 

Velez takes the helm at CEC after a long tenure coaching both boys and girls youth basketball in the Bucks County area for various programs, including the Bensalem Chargers and Pennsbury travel programs during the winter and spring seasons.

"I am very excited to bring my passion and energy to the high school level and look forward to continue growing the game at Conwell-Egan," said Velez.

"We are confident that Coach Velez' experience and passion for the game will continue to propel the girls basketball program forward at CEC," said Athletic Director Mike Miller. "We look forward to ushering in this new era of development and success for the student-athletes at CEC."
